113 New Jobs Coming To Washington CountySPIG Industry, LLC To Expand Guardrail Manufacturing Operation

Governor Ralph Northam announced today that SPIG Industry, LLC, will expand its operation in Washington County. This expansion will create 113 new jobs and includes $7.9 million in capital investment. The expansion will occur at SPIG’s current location in the Bristol-Washington Industrial park and includes three production plants, a welding shop and a new rail spur. The Tobacco Commission is supporting this project with a $99,500 Tobacco Region Opportunity Fund grant.

Commission Approves 13 Funding Requests for Projects in Southern and Southwest Virginia

Richmond, VA – The Virginia Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission met electronically on Monday, September 28th and acted on 13 funding requests.
